Participate In The Waterford Crossings Pet Drive To Help Celebrate The Nashville Humane Society’s 80th Birthday!

Nashville Humane Association

Waterford Crossings in Antioch, Tennessee, is committed to helping mark the 80th birthday of the Nashville Humane Association—with an April pet drive! Incorporated in 1946 to protect the well-being of animals in Davidson County, the association is one of the oldest service organizations in Nashville. It’s committed to finding responsible homes, controlling pet overpopulation, and promoting the humane treatment of animals. None of the amazing work it performs daily for animals and their people would be possible without support. And because Waterford Crossings is such a pet-friendly apartment home community (complete with two pet parks!), the partnership just makes sense!   What To Donate To participate in the pet drive, bring any of the items on this list to the office by the end of the month (April 30 is the last day of the drive). wire crates (all sizes) towels (bath or beach size only) dog beds and blankets cat and dog food (canned and dry, must be unopened) newspaper dog leashes cat and dog treats plastic travel carriers (especially large sizes) martingale limited-slip collars (sizes small and medium) milk replacer for kittens and puppies (must be unopened) stainless steel bowls 1 gallon Clorox bleach paper towels 13 gallon trash bags Remember, Nashville Humane can’t accept pillows, pillowcases, washcloths, hand towels, fitted sheets, pet stairs/ramps, and cat trees.
